Jos Davidse will be working in a dual role for the HGK Group in future: he is already Managing Director of HGK Shipping Rotterdam B.V. and has extensive experience in the inland shipping sector. "We are delighted that Jos Davidse is joining the management team and that we are joining forces to drive forward the holistic approach of our container logistics," explains Markus Krämer, CEO of HGK Logistics and Intermodal GmbH. "Together with Rainer Görtler, he will ensure that HGK Logistics and Intermodal Nederland B.V. is fit for the challenges ahead."

HGK Logistics and Intermodal Nederland B.V. has been organising container transport by barge and rail between the major ARA seaports of Rotterdam and Antwerp and the HGK LI container terminals on the Rhine and Ruhr since 1988. The company's services focus in particular on the efficient combination of inland waterway, rail and lorry.

The company offers customers complete packages for handling domestic and export transport. Support is provided, for example, with the organisation of import declarations or transit documents. Real-time data is also available so that customers are informed about the location and time window at all times. "I am looking forward to continuing to run the company together with Rainer Görtler and Marianne Lehmbeck in the proven manner and providing our customers with the best possible support," says Jos Davidse.

The previous Managing Director Patrick Rijgersberg will be leaving the company at his own request on 31 December 2025 after 22 years of successful service, ensuring a seamless transition. Markus Krämer expressly thanks Patrick Rijgersberg "for his many years of service and commitment to the company. I wish him all the best for his future endeavours."
