A partner for sustainable logistics solutions

The HGK Group is one of the leading players in intermodal freight transport, and connects the key industrial locations along the Rhine with the relevant logistics hubs across Europe. For our customers we combine our competences in the field of trimodal freight transport into a unique logistics network. Our objective: to shift more transport onto rail and inland waterways and thereby reduce CO2emissions in the supply chain.

The HGK Group Business Divisions

For this reason the HGK Group has repositioned itself in recent years. As ‘architects of freight transport’, we offer all services and assets related to trimodal transport and the inland waterways system. In combination with a wide range of logistics services for a wide range of cargo categories and markets, we form a unique offering. We operate high-performance container terminals and logistics hubs, maintain our own fleets for both inland waterway shipping and rail freight and are constantly expanding our logistics offerings, from transport through handling and storage to specific contract logistics services for sensitive goods.

The customised and efficient implementation of this comprehensive range of services is in the hands of five business divisions, which combine their offerings in a customer-focused manner
