Our locomotive workshop is ideally equipped and qualified for both renewal and vehicle inspections in accordance with Section 32 of the Ordinance on the Construction and Operation of Railways (EBO). This also includes performing brake revisions and deadline work on train control systems and train radio systems. With well-equipped mobile teams, we are also available to our customers on the road.
We keep your locomotives in good condition
Our locomotive workshop offers a total of eight work tracks of up to 55 metres length. One of these tracks is a calibrated measurement track with an integrated and calibrated wheel set scale. Five lifting jack systems with four spindle lifting jacks each, with a maximum load capacity of 140 tonnes, ensure parallel working. A well-equipped spare parts store ensures high availability even during difficult procurement situations.
HGK vehicle technology is orientated to our customers’ needs. We know that despite all planning for long-term maintenance programmes, sometimes work has to happen quickly to ensure the availability of locomotives. We are always ready to listen and are also available to our customers with well-equipped mobile workshop teams if required.
