HGK AG donates 5000 euros to two charitable organisations

"We would like to support the great work of both organisations with these donations. The commitment of those responsible at 'Wir für Pänz' and 'Frauen helfen Frauen' cannot be overestimated," explains HGK CEO Uwe Wedig. He adds: "As a corporate group based in Cologne, we want to give something back by supporting local projects."

"Wir für Pänz e.V." looks after families and children who are disadvantaged due to chronic illness, disability, developmental delay or poverty. It focuses on prevention and early help that promotes health and works together with Cologne's paediatric clinics, paediatricians in private practice, health, youth and social services, schools and daycare centres.

The association "Frauen helfen Frauen e.V." is the organisation responsible for the two autonomous women's shelters in Cologne. These offer protection, accommodation and support for women and their children who are affected or threatened by physical, psychological and sexualised violence. Women are taken in regardless of their origin, residence status or religious affiliation.
